Danica Ramsey-Brimberg

Danica Ramsey-Brimberg was recently awarded her PhD in History from the University of Liverpool.  Her doctoral thesis focused on Viking Age furnished graves located in or near ecclesiastical sites in the Irish Sea area from the ninth to the eleventh centuries.  She previously studied at Boston College (BA in History with a Minor in Irish Studies and MEd in Secondary Education in History) and the University of York (MA in Medieval Archaeology).  Her current research continues her investigation into graves and ecclesiastical sites during the Viking Age as well as popular portrayals of the Viking Age in film.  She is also co-host of the New Books in Irish Studies podcast for the New Books Network.
